This sandbox contains railroads, towns, forests, an old munitions factory, World War II bunkers, and more. On top of the campaign this expansion also introduces a new terrain covering the Nadbór region inside the fictional Polish-speaking country of Livonia. There are also infantry combat sections, although Bohemia Interactive emphasises that the campaign features mostly 'non-shooting gameplay'.
You can even use a Spectrum Device to take control of the electromagnetic spectrum, which can be used to gather intel, transmit data, or for jamming. In this campaign you need to investigate the aliens, studying them using a sampling laser and biopsy probe. Arma III has just received a rather unique expansion, as the Contact spin-off is all about aliens and life beyond our planet, delivering a single-player campaign in which you play as a NATO drone operator investigating a newly-discovered subsurface object and an alien vessel.
